Rabbit weights vary enormously, from as little as 1kg for a Netherland Dwarf to over 6kg for the giant breeds. Using the energy density of the product, the quantity of food required to fulfil the rabbits daily energy requirements (based on body weight and life stage) may be calculated. These are shown in the table below. Rabbits have different levels of activity, and so the quantity fed should be adjusted to maintain body weight (weekly weighing is recommended to monitor the rabbits weight). Divide the daily amount into two, feed one portion in the morning and one in the evening. It is important to ensure that all the ingredients in RUSSEL RABBIT are eaten so that the correct quantity and balance of nutrients are absorbed. If some ingredients are left, reduce the daily quantity of food until everything is eaten.
