| Dear Marty Mole My name is Lisa. I have
got three rabbits. One girl called Billie, and
two boys called Robbie and Bobbie.
Billie is a
charcoal coloured lop-eared rabbit and the two
boys are Orange Rex's. I always let them out to
play in our back garden. They run around chasing
each other, and eat the grass and plants.
One day I was
cleaning out Billies hutch while she was playing
in the garden, when I saw part of the bedding
move. I got really scared and ran in to get my
Mummy. She said "Don't be silly it was
probably the wind move the bedding". But I
was too scared to go back and clean the hutch, so
Mummy came with me. Mummy looked in the hutch and
moved the bedding and out popped two baby rabbits!
Billies had, had two babies. They were really
small and all fluffy, and were cuddling each
other. One was white and the other was black.
When Daddy got
home from work I showed him the babies, and he
was really shocked too. But Daddy said we
couldn't keep them as we already had three. This
made me cry, as I really wanted to keep them. I
promised my Dad that I would look after them
properly and clean them out and he said "yes".
I was so happy.
I named the
babies Daz and Lenny, so now I've got five
bunnies that run round the garden playing
together.
Love Lisa, aged
7 years.
