Company History
Supreme launched Russel Rabbit in 1991,
after extensive research confirmed the need for specialist
foods for small animals. For the first time customers were
offered a premium, branded and complete rabbit food, high
in fibre, specifically formulated to fulfil the needs of
adult rabbits.
Russel Rabbit was readily accepted by rabbit
lovers and breeders throughout the UK and as
Supreme extended its research, new products were launched for specific animals.

Supreme's manufacturing plant in Hadleigh,
Suffolk, UK, has been purpose built to manufacture high-fibre
diets for small animals. Supreme has now extended its manufacturing
facilities by acquiring a bakery where it produces Treats to
complement its food range.
Supreme cares about small animals and has a
dedicated Pet Care & Health Department to ensure that
its products are nutritionally sound, and palatable; and
a Quality Department to ensure recipes are correctly manufactured
using only high-quality raw materials.
Supreme markets its products in brightly coloured
packs with a loveable cartoon character representing each
animal.
Supreme now dominates the UK small animal market
and feeds more than 1,000,000 animals world wide every day,
with its products now available internationally through pet
shops, vets, supermarkets and pet super stores.
Supreme's head office and manufacturing plants
are in the UK, but Supreme also has an office in Holland,
and a master distributor for the US in Ferndale, WA.
Supreme strongly believe that owners of small
animals often seek information on how to feed nutritionally
correct food to their small animals, and also to learn how
to care for them. As well as producing special diets for
each animal, Supreme also provide a range of informative
material including leaflets and posters, to help educate
pet owners.
Supreme also produces a range of Treats and
Accessories, as well as cage cleaners and bedding to assist
cage hygiene and welfare, therefore providing a 'complete
care system' for small animals.
Supreme has a team of staff
dedicated to providing the best for small animals, and
continues to add premium quality products to the range to
ensure that small animals are well cared for, happy and healthy.
