Due to the growing popularity of its 3kg packs of Russel Original, Russel Carrot & Leek and Gerty Guinea Pig – Supreme Petfoods is now expanding its mid-sized product range with the launch of new 3 kilo Russel Junior and Reggie Rat complete foods.

Previously only available in 1kg premium packs (10 per outer) or 15kg bulk bags (supplied with weigh out bags), Russel Junior and Reggie Rat are now available to the pet trade in 3kg packs, delivered in outers of four.

Both products are complete foods, made from highly palatable and visually appealing coarse mix ingredients formulated in accordance with BSAVA (British Small Animal Veterinary Association) and NRC (National Research Council) guidelines.

Russel Junior is a colourant-free food for dwarf and baby rabbits (between 8 to 20 weeks old). It is blended with smaller components, which makes it easier for smaller rabbits to eat. Baby rabbits have high metabolic rates and Russel Junior has been formulated to provide enhanced levels of protein and fibre that are essential for baby rabbits and also can be helpful to gestating and lactating does.

Developed specifically for rats, Reggie Rat’s ingredients include chicken as a low fat, tasty source of protein and alfalfa, rich in both protein and fibre. Feeding Reggie Rat encourages superior coat condition as it does not contain nuts or seeds, which can cause skin problems and spots in rats.
